  • Rachel Meakins

    Certified Doula and Neonatal Care Specialist

    Rachel studied Biology & Psychology at Baruch College while also pursing a health coaching certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Since she has expanded her reach by work through Chamber of Mothers & Every Mother Counts. Rachel’s business, Zenbari, provides virtual services to meet the needs of new parents. Rachel has stated, “I hope to connect women with the resources they are searching for and to provide any support they need in order to feel confident in their decisions, capabilities, and sense of self as a mother.”

  • Janell Green

    Certified Nurse Midwife

    Janell is a native of Charleston, South Carolina. She started her career in high-risk obstetrics, which ignited her passion for patient advocacy. Everyday she strives to eliminate racial disparities in women's healthcare. She obtained her MSN in Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University and is currently pursuing her doctorate. When Janell is not catching babies, she enjoys catching flights for travel, reading, and roller skating.

  • Dr. Bailey Cannon

    Physician in Obstetrics, Gynecology & Lifestyle Medicine

    Dr. Cannon spent the majority of her younger years in the beautiful high desert of Reno, Nevada. She completed her advanced medical training in OB/GYN at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. Dr. Cannon enjoys discussing lifestyle changes which can greatly impact health with her patients and their families. Dr. Cannon is a mother and wife; outside of the hospital she enjoys running, spending quality time with friends and family, and cooking.

  • Christine Brown

    Sleep, Lactation, Behavior, and Potty Training Consultant

    Christine Brown is a Mom to twin boys who she jokes tried to kill her from sleep deprivation when they were 6 months old! This experience ignited an obsession with sleep and a passion for helping families. Christine became a certified child sleep consultant in early 2016 and founded Bella Luna Family, a parent consulting company specializing in helping parents with some of the most challenging aspects of parenting, including child sleep, lactation, behavior, and potty training. Christine and her team can be found on all social channels at @bellalunafamily.

  • Rachel DiGiacomo

    Registered Dietician Nutritionist

    Rachel is a registered dietitian who strives to help individuals of all ages improve their overall health and well-being through food. She started her career as a pediatric dietitian and over the years has developed her own practice, Good Sense Nutrition, where she focuses on gentle nutrition for chronic conditions, prenatal, postpartum and family nutrition, as well as healing body image and disordered eating.

  • Piper Grabowski

    Infant Sleep and Lactation Consultant

    Piper Grabowski is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) dedicated to supporting new mothers and babies. Her journey began with a BS in midwifery from the University College Cork in Ireland, where she provided care to women throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Upon returning to the States, Piper earned her MS from SUNY and became an IBCLC, extending her support to mothers and babies prenatally through toddlerhood. Further inspired by her own breastfeeding journey, Piper is driven to provide a calm, safe space for nursing families, through education and a non-judgmental ear. When she is not playing the "milk maid" (as lovingly coined by her husband), she is adventuring with her vivacious daughter, drinking absurd amounts of tea, or strength training to 80's music.

    Ivan is an independent consultant with 14 years of military experience. As the Founder of The Better Place, he focuses on creating leaders everyone wants to follow and building organizations everyone wants to work for. He is also the dad of two amazing little humans!

  • Melissa Zuk

    Nurse Practitioner & Sexuality Counselor

    Mel has been a nurse for 14 years and has transitioned into the field of Sexuality Counseling over the last 5. She identifies as queer, kinky, and loves working with her clients on everything from anatomy and pleasure skills to relationship communication inside and outside of the bedroom. She works from a holistic attachment lens and includes perspectives from Perel, Gottman, Kinsey, Nagoski, and beyond to inform her practice. She also utilizes embodied awareness and numerous principles from non-monogamy to support her clients through her business Humble & Humor. She believes in constantly challenging the systems that oppress our sexuality so that we can achieve more joyous and more pleasurable intimate lives.

  • Dr. Jess Weisz

    Board Certified Pediatrician

    Dr. Jess Weisz has spent over 10 years pediatrician in Washington DC. She thinks it’s very important for families to feel supported, especially in the first year of their child’s life, and works daily to address family’s needs. When she’s not seeing families in the office, she is spending time doing advocacy with the DC Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and with two kids of her own.

  • Shaniece Gathers

    Registered Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse Practioner

    Shaniece is a native of Charleston, South Carolina. She is a registered nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. She obtained her nursing degree from from The Medical University of South Carolina. Shaniece is currently pursuing her dreams of becoming a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, with a goal to provide mental health services to women during their perinatal period. When Shaniece is not caring for neonates and postpartum women, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and twin boys, traveling and trying different cultural cuisine.

  • Crystal Rose Napolitano

    Somatic Sexologist

    Crystal loves all things embodiment. As a somatic sexologist, dancer, performer, and birth doula, she knows how to teach you about your body and what it's telling you - and how to communicate back! She's a queer, female, sex positive entrepreneur who started her practice, Your Body Your Story with the mission of helping everyone define their own narrative about what sex, intimacy, joy, connection, and communication looks like for them. She is incredibly passionate about supporting both the pregnant person and their partner through the life changing journey of bringing another human into the world.

  • Nicole Sessions-Harris

    Certifed Doula & Master of Fine Arts

    Nicole Sessions is a full-spectrum doula, reproductive justice advocate, herbalist, educator, writer and actress. Some of the modalities that Nicole incorporates into her work as a birth keeper are birth hypnosis, yoga, breathwork, meditation and Reiki. She is the co-creator of MIND + BREATH + BODY, a meditation, movement and self-hypnosis course for birth and postpartum for LOOM. She also co-created HERBALISM FOR PREGNANCY & BIRTH CARE PROFESSIONALS, an immersive course for birth professionals in herbalism for the childbearing year. She lives in Atlanta with her family.

  • Dr. Riva Preil

    Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist

    Dr. Riva Preil is a pelvic floor physical therapist with a passion for pelvic health. She received her Master's degree from Hunter College and began her career at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center’s (SJRMC) outpatient department. She treats women, men, and children with various pelvic floor disorders at Revitalize Physical Therapy, her private practice in New York City.

  • Ali Weisbrot

    Licensed Clinical Social Worker

    Ali is a clinical social worker born and raised in the DC area with a passion for supporting women and families on their journeys to and through parenthood. Ali earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work at Columbia University and her Bachelor’s in Applied Developmental Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. Ali came to the field of perinatal mental health through her own lived experience and founded Bluestone Counseling Group in order to support women and families so they never felt like they were on their journey alone. In her free time Ali is usually found chasing after her two spirited girls, practicing yoga, exploring nature or baking the perfect chocolate chip cookie.
